Independent Appraisal
Ideal as a tool to assist buyers prior to purchase, our report can be used to ensure any asset is as described by the seller, and will identify potential problems or hidden repairs that may be required.
During the inspection process all key functions are tested, and our report can often help purchasers negotiate lower prices allowing for repair costs.
Following payment for this service, the report and accompanying photographs and videos are usually available to download securely within 24 hours of appraisal.
End of Lease Reporting
Geared towards financial institutions our end of lease reporting service includes detailed measurements of key wear parts such as tyres, undercarriage and ground engaging tools (GET).
Panel damage is marked, and each individual component area is classified according to its condition. An estimate of any repair costs is also provided.
As usual, our report and accompanying data is available for download usually within 24 hours of appraisal.
LOLER & PUWER Testing
In today’s environment compliance with current legislation is more important than ever before, and our LOLER and PUWER examinations ensure that your equipment is both safe to operate and fit for purpose.
Once our appraisal has been satisfactorily completed, we aim to provide both hard and digital copies of the required certification within 24 hours, along with our accompanying report.
Should our assessor feel that an item of equipment is unsafe we will advise of all issues immediately. Please note that this service is only available in the UK.
Oil Sampling and Analysis
As an optional extra to our standard independent appraisal, we can also withdraw fluid samples from agreed components and provide third-party analysis.
While sampling in isolation will not show any trend in component degradation it will provide a snapshot of any fluid contamination, and help form a more complete picture of component wear.
Analysis and reports are usually available within 72 hours of sample delivery to our partner’s laboratory.
Independent Valuation
Best suited as an addition to our Independent Inspection, this service can in some circumstances be used as a stand-alone insurance aid or simply as a remote valuation.
We will research both current trends and historical data in both home and foreign marketplaces and provide our expert opinion on your asset’s value.
Asset Disposal
While our core business remains independent appraisals we can advise on suitable routes for disposal of redundant assets, and through our network of contacts accumulated during more than 25 years in the plant and equipment industry we are sometimes able to broker satisfactory outcomes for both buyers and sellers.
